This manual contains diagnostic charts for 1981, 1982 and 1983 Computer Command Control System and for the 1982-1983 Electronic Fuel Injection System. Use these charts in place of similar charts previously published in service manuals, Service Guides and service bulletins. Use the information in this manual until it is modified or replaced by new information published by Oldsmobile or General Motors Corporation.

Be sure to use the correct chart. The system name, and the year(s) it was used, are shown at the top of each page.

Some procedures require running the engine. Before starting the engine, always block the drive wheels, firmly apply the parking brake, and shift the automatic transmission to "P" (Park) or Neutral on manual transmission.
