Developed by Ford Motor Company, this shop manual is designed to be used with the 1974 Shop Manuals and the 1975 Specification Book. It outlines new service procedures and describes new equipment available on 1975 vehicles. Used with the appropriate 1974 manuals (not included), it provides the Service Technician with the information needed to properly servcie the 1975 vehicles.

Appropriate service methods and procedures are essential for the safe, reliable operation of all motor vehicles as well as the personal safety of the individual doing the work. This manual provides general directions for performing service with tested, effective techniques. Following them will help assure reliability. There are numerous variations in procedure, techniques, tools and parts for servicing vehicles, as well as in the skill of the individual doing the work.
