The Mercedes-Benz 250C Coupé which is successful all over the world has now a new 6-cylinder engine with 130 net bhp/DIN (96kW). It is now joined by two new Coupés with the same neat, compact bodywork: the 280C with 160 net bhp/DIN (118kW) and 280CE Coupés with 185 net bhp/DIN (136kW).

These vehicles have a twin-camshaft engine. This engine has in some cases considerably increased the driving performance of these vehicels.
