Description

1963 Ford Diesel Truck 3500-7000 Series Service Shop Repair Manual Supplement. ORIGINAL

Developed by Ford Motor Company, this supplement provides information for in-chassis service of Ford Diesel Trucks equipped with the 220 4-cylinder and 330 6-cylinder diesel engines. Available maintenance and lubrication information and specifications are included.

Procedures for components that are the same for trucks equipped with gasoline engines are covered in the 1961 100-800 Series Truck Shop Manual (not included) and the 1962-63 100-800 Series Truck Shop Manual Supplement (not included).

Appropriate service methods and procedures are essential for the safe, reliable operation of all motor vehicles as well as the personal safety of the individual doing the work. This manual provides general directions for performing service with tested, effective techniques. Following them will help assure reliability. There are numerous variations in procedure, techniques, tools and parts for servicing vehicles, as well as in the skill of the individual doing the work. This manual cannot possibly anticipate all such variations and provide advice or cautions as to each. The descriptions and specifications contained in the manual were in effect at the time of publication. Note: These manuals were never meant as restoration manuals, as that is not within the regular scope of work done by dealership service departments.

Contents:

Engines
Exhaust Systems
Starting and Generating Systems
Maintenance and Lubrication
Specifications and Special Tools

Condition: Service Manuals have been used in Dealerships, Independent Garages and in Fleet Environments and thus reflect such use, most often showing signs of soiling and may show other signs of age and wear, but the information within is still legible and can give valuable insight in the care and maintenance of vehicles. There is some soiling on the cover and outside page edges. Internal pages are pretty much soil free. Rusty staples. With this type of book, it is the content that reigns supreme and the information within is still legible and can give valuable insight into the care and maintenance of a vehicle. The images shown are reflective of the of kind of condition one might find of manuals that are shipped.
