The first set of Johansson Gage Blocks - now the "World's Standard of Measurement" - was produced in 1989 at Eskilstuna, Sweden.

In 1923, Mr. Henry Ford acquired the manufacturing rights for Johansson gage Blocks in the Western Hemisphere. Experiments with Johansson Blocks were continued at the Ford laboratories in Dearborn, Michigan, until they were developed to measure within one-millionth of an inch.

Condition: Shows some light wear and yellowing from age.
