Introduction

The Ford Bus Service Bulletin is added to the Ford Motor Company's list of periodical papers to cover that important automotive field which has to do with mass transportation of people in densely populated metropolitan areas and also in less populous suburban areas.

This transport job must be handled quickly and with the greatest amount of comfort and safety to the passengers in order to increase patronage. It must also be done at the lowest possible cost to permit a reasonable profit together with a minimum passenger fare to build up patronage to the highest consistent with the profit possibilities.

To accomplish the most economical operation, it is essential that everyone connected with bus transportation be thoroughly acquainted with the equipment used and the improvements made from time to time by the manufacturer. The maintenance personnel particularly must know how to service the bus according to the manufacturer's approved standards.

It is the purpose of the Ford Bus Bulletin to assist the Bus operator accomplish this result.
