This is an original 2009 copy of the original Another Road in Another Time, a Model A Road Trip in 1929, written by G. Eugene Russel, as told by Anita Russell. The adventures and everyday life of an Iowa family driving their new Ford Model A west to California during the first months of the Great Depression. Traveling nearly 10,000 miles in 1929 and '30, mostly on dirt roads, through 12 different states, their journey lasted seven and a half months. Recounted from a daily diary and photographs they took along the way, this volume is a significant historical record of the early days of automobile road trips. Includes 113 photographs. The Model A was, and still is a monumental part of history, dating from 1928, 1929, 1930, and 1931. This book is in good condition and shows very minimal signs of wear, see photos for reference.
