The Engine Fault Code Diagnostic Manual is designed to assist the service technicians of authorized Hyundai dealers to efficiently and correctly diagnose Hyundai vehicles which return OBD-II compliant Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). This manual also provides detailed instructions on how to use the SimuTech feature of the Hyundai Diagnostic System (HDS) to troubleshoot many fault codes.

This manual contains system descriptions, schematics, HDS test procedures, and diagnostic trees to aid in correcting the conditions which set DTCs.
