This manual contains diagnosis, on-vehicle maintenance, and light repair for Medium and Heavy Duty Truck models Procedures involving disassembly and assembly of major components for these vehicles are published in separate Truck Unit Repair Manuals (NOT Included). Wiring diagrams for these models also are published in separate Truck Wiring Diagram booklet (NOT Included).

This publication contains preliminary service information for 1983 models, prepared before all of the final production specifications were established. Complete service information will be contained in a final Service Manual to be released approximately February 1983. Upon receipt of the final manual, discard this preliminary publication.
