Description

1981 Toyota Cressida Service Shop Repair Manual for Collision Damaged Body. ORIGINAL.

This repair manual has been prepared to provide information on the repair methods (including cutting and welding operations, but excluding painting) recommended by Toyota for collition-damaged body components of the Toyota Cressida. The descriptions and specifications contained in the manual were in effect at the time of publication. Note: These manuals were never meant as restoration manuals, as that is not within the regular scope of work done by dealership service departments.

Applicable models: RX60, LX60, MX62, RX62 series.

This manual consists of body repair methods, repair time schedules, exploded diagrams and illustrations of the body components and other information relating to body repair operations such as body sealing points, tools and equipment, etc. However, it should be noted that the information on the repair method of front fender is not contained in this manual, because the front fenders on all the Totota models are bolted on and require no welding.
