1974 GMC Trucks Jimmy Sales Brochure. Jimmy...Where you go depends on you. V-8 Power Teams with Full-Time-Four-Wheel-Drive. Jimmy adds innovation to an impressive list of features. Full-time-four-wheel-drive is standard on all V-8 powered four-wheel-drive models for improved vehicle traction and operation. An inter-axle differential balances speed variations between the front and rear end; also locks manually into conventional four-wheel-drive for extremely poor traction situations like loose sand or slippery snow. How and where you go depends on you, but you can figure on added reliability and improved handling. Driver convenience is an added plus especially on routes where you might otherwise be out-and-down in front changing hubs from on-to-off-road settings and back again. Jimmy models are also available in conventional four-wheel-drive on six-cylinder models with available free-wheeling front hubs. Two-wheel drive is also available. Mentions the interior as well as some options and power plants available. Very good condition. ADV 74-3 (8-73)
