1970 and Prior VW Owners Handbook of Maintenance and Repair - Clymer 12th Ed
1970 and Prior VW Owners Handbook of Maintenance and Repair - Clymer 12th Ed
1970 and Prior Volkswagen VW Owners Handbook of Maintenance and Repair. Original. Floyd Clymer Motorbooks. Revised 12th Edition.
As the world's largest publisher of books on Volkswagens, we feel this 12th Edition is the best and most complete book we have ever published on VW cars. Like the automobile itself, we have tried to make it uncomplicated and easy to use. It is not a shop manual, but in most instances it will serve as an authentic guide to the non-VW mechanic who may be called on to repair the car in an emergency. Likewise, it is amply detailed and explicit enough for the owner who like to do a certain amount of his own maintenance and repair work. Even for the non-mechanically inclined, the Handbook has proven valuable in providing a clear explanation of the functions of parts and shop methods as well as alerting him to small signs which can mean future trouble.
Starting with the 1965 Repair Supplement on page 235, supplements cover improvements for each model year compared to the previous year.
The new 1970 models section starts on page 404. All differences in the 1967/68/69 models with 1500 engines (similar except for cylinder bore) start on page 301.
