Volvo, as is known to many owners, stands for "I roll" in Latin, and these Swedish 4-cylinder high-performance cars started "to roll" into this country in the spring of 1956. They "caught on" too, as within the space of a year they had copped seventh place in import sales - and their popularity is still growing by leaps and bounds. May 1959 Issue.
