Did you know? American Austin produced motorcars licensed from the British Austin Motor Company from 1930 to 1934. In 1934 it filed for bankruptcy. The company made a return in 1935 as American Bantam. It produced cars from 1937 through 1941. They produced the first prototype of what later became the Jeep.
