1902-1962 Yorkshire Traction Co LTD Diamond Jubilee Company History Brochure. 60 Years of Publice Service. England Contents: Board of Directors. Senior Officials. Two pages devoted to the first Fifty Years with a note stating a separate brochure produced 10 years before to commemorate the Golden Jubilee gave more details on the formation of the company and of the tramway era which commenced on Nov 7, 1902, also of the start and extensive development of bus services and of the many express services to coastal resorts, to the Midlands and to London. It is not proposed to cover the same ground again, but on these to pages are listed a number of important events of the first 50 years. Next the brocure covers the last decade of the company along with charts showing things such as ridership and mileage. Lists new services introduced. A page noting re-construction of garages. And last a listing of long service employees showing those with a minimum of 25 years of service up to 50. Condition: Soiling. Middle page has been separated from staples.
